to Load and Run the 2004 Annual Report PowerPoint Presentation |

To enjoy the musical
accompaniment to the presentation, please follow these steps:
- Create a new
folder called "ChicagoACS" on the root (top) level of your C: drive. When
you double click to open your C: drive you should see this folder as one
of the folders on the drive.
- Right-click
this file: music2004.mid and
select "save target as...". Save it in the new folder "ChicagoACS"
you just created on your C: drive.
To play
the PowerPoint presentation, "The
Year in Review, a Photographic Perspective":
- Play the file directly
from the web and in your browser window by clicking on ACS_2004_year_in_review.pps
- A better option
is to right-click on the link above and select "save target
as...",
then save the file to your computer. Make sure it is saved with
an extension "pps",
not
"ppt". Change the extension if necessary. If
you do this, then after saving it you can double click on the file
in your computer to play the presentation directly.
Option 2
is the preferred viewing method because the presentation
will be displayed full screen, rather than a small version
in your browser window.
WARNING: This
file is 3.3 Mb in size, and will take a very long time to load
over a dial-up modem.
