Note:
These directions lead to the entrance at the north end of the Abbott Laboratories North Chicago campus.  The main campus entrance is a few blocks south on Sheridan Road at 14th street.

Directions:
From Chicago: Take the Tri-State tollway, I-294 / I-94, north towards Wisconsin.  Exit east at Route 120, Belvidere Road, (near Waukegan).  Alternately, take Skokie Hwy (Rt. 41) to Route 120.   Go east to Green Bay Road (Rt. 131).  Turn south and go a few blocks to 10th Street.  Watch your speed here; it is often monitored.   Go east to Sheridan Road, cross Sheridan into the Abbott parking lot on the north end of the Abbott campus. Or, turn left/south for four blocks to the main gate at 14th street and Sheridan Road.
