Abstract:

The College Education Committee will hold the annual undergraduate research symposium featuring students from the University of Illinois-Chicago Chemistry Department. They are:

The UIC students have successfully completed phases of their research and will present interesting stories of their work. Their advisors include Dr. Leslie Fung (Professor of Biochemistry) and Dr. Cynthia J. Jameson (Professor of Physical Chemistry).

The symposium will be held in conjunction with the November 16 Chicago Section monthly dinner meeting and will begin at 5:15 p.m.

Volunteers from both industry and academe are invited to join the College Education committee. The committee plans and facilitates the annual Undergraduate Symposium in Chemistry sponsored by the Section, which is designed to further students' continued growth and effectiveness.
