The Chemical Bulletin®
The ACS Chicago Section Newsletters On Line

As of the September, 2008 issue, the Chemical Bulletin will no longer be mailed to Chicago Section members. The distribution of the Bulletin is going totally electronic, which will provide a huge savings in costs and additional flexibility to expand the Chemical Bulletin in size and full-color content, as well as more rapid distribution.  Links to Bulletin files may be found below.

Those requiring a hard copy of the Bulletin may request one at an annual fee of $15 to help defray our printing and mailing costs. Phone the Chicago Section office at 847-391-9091 if you would like to order the hard-copy version.

News flash:   We are now providing both a normal resolution and a lower resolution version of the Chemical Bulletin so our readers with dial-up connections can download the lower resolution version of the newsletter in a reasonable amount of time.  In viewing the two versions, the most apparent difference I observe is that some of the fine detail is lost in some of the ads when the lower resolution version of the newsletter is viewed.

If you don't have a PDF reader, here's a link to download one for free from Adobe.

New:  A "Sponsors Page".   Links to the websites of our Chemical Bulletin sponsors.  If you are a sponsor and you aren't featured on this page, please let the webmaster or the Chemical Bulletin editor know and we will be happy to add you to this page.   We need your web address, a copy of your logo, and your contact information.  If there is a suitable logo on your web page, we can pull it down for this page.

The number in parentheses adjacent to each link is the size of the file in kilobytes, and, depending on your connection speed should give you an indication of the amount of time it will take to download and open the file.  If you are using a dial-up phone connection, each file may take a while.
